Description
This book was written to help students improve their writing skills, specifically criminal justice reports. The authors believe improved reading skills lead to improved writing skills. Every chapter includes student exercises for supplemental reading, which emphasizes the importance of reading to enhance writing skills. Each chapter includes a: Reading and research assignment based on newspaper and website articles, Crossword puzzle, Quiz, Spelling test. In addition, there are:19 sample narratives, 20 sample report forms, 24 Exercises containing 182 Questions, 89 Instructor Cues. The student materials are available on-line and include a series of 9 video scenarios for students to watch, take notes, and write reports. The Instructor DVD has 3 additional scenarios for testing. Interview & Interrogation with Eyewitness Testimony is an appropriate supplemental text for use with this text in a written communication or report writing class.
